I’m off on an adventure

Today, I packed up my bags, watered my plants, left a note for the cat sitter and set off on an adventure with Steve, my husband.

As I write this blog post we are on a plane bound for Portland, Oregon, flying over Lake Huron. Over the next few days I will be attending the World Domination Summit with 1,000 other life-style and business change-agents including many of my mentors, entrepreneurs, world travelers and some who are both (http://worlddominationsummit.com). I’ll be sharing my insights about this awe-inspiring conference over the coming weeks in future posts.

Early next week I will officially be on holidays, traveling to Seattle, Vancouver, Vancouver Island and finally to Haida Gwaii (formally known as the Queen Charlotte Islands), to enjoy dear friends and family, get my fill of great food, soak up the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and immerse myself in the local sustainability community.

I’ll be away for three weeks. That is a long time for an entrepreneur. While I designed my business and my life to encourage such pursuits, I am a bit trepidatious. I am also very grateful for this remarkable opportunity of time and exploration. “All the goodies happen outside one’s comfort zone”, a coach once told me. And she was correct. I know that this adventure away from my desk and my computer will make me a better me.

What do you want more of in your life? What could you do today to bring it into sharper focus? What will make you a better you? Know that I am here as your champion in the mission that is uniquely yours.
